| Feng Shui Tips ~ In The Kitchen |
|
The kitchen is a very important place because it is where the family’s food is prepared. Attention Chefs.....Lets get the kitchen in shape Good Feng Shui in the kitchen is quite valuable because food symbolizes nourishment, health and wealth.
2-Choose light colors for the kitchen to create a feeling of openness. Green symbolizes Wood which works well with both Fire and Water which are major parts of all kitchens. 3-The oven is symbolic of Fire and the sink and fridge is symbolic of Water. These two elements should not confront each other nor sit side by side. Right angles are the best configuration for these two elements. 4-Preparation surfaces should be located so that the chef does not have his or her back towards the door while working. 5-The kitchen area should remain open and empty in the center to maintain the energy flow. A work island in the middle of a kitchen may be convenient, but is not good Feng Shui. 6-When planning the layout of a new home the kitchen should not be located beneath the Water element of a bathroom. 7-The kitchen should be a protected area in the house and not visible from the front door. 8-Make sure faucets do not leak as a leaking faucet represents money going down the drain. Happy Cooking!!
