Feng Shui Tips ~ Activate Your Front Door

One of the pillars of Feng Shui is the front door.

This is the mouth of chi.

All the energy available to you everyday is dictated by how much activation you have around your front door.

It is important to realize how cleaned or polluted is the energy as it simply travels to your property.

You may have Yin Area pollutants to energy in your surrounding neighborhood which will effect your home or office. Such areas include churches or cemeteries, abandoned buildings or neighborhoods that are not well kept or empty real estate.

You want to cleanse the energy if it has passed through this areas within 3-4 blocks of your property with shrubs and trees and flowers.

Think nature as long as it does not hide your door from the street.

Your home needs to invite and play with energy.

Are you easy to find?

Your address should be easily seen from the street.

The 3 key points to keep in mind when activating your front door and inviting your daily dose of energy coming to you with new opportunity in every area of your life is color, sound and movement.

For color you can use flowers or flags of any kind.

Sound is best with windchimes or bells.

For movement you can also use the flags or a water fountain is always a great activator for the front door especially if you are facing North or South East or for this year 2011 the North West is excellent for water fountains.
